This is particularly true when the tabs of some electric vehicle lithium battery packs use copper rather than nickel. The high instantaneous energy and adjustable pulse width of the QCW laser significantly exceed the efficiency of conventional fiber laser galvanometer welding. Furthermore, the automatic QCW laser galvanometer welding machine achieves a smaller laser focus spot and a longer working distance than a platform welding machine, making it suitable for welding within a narrower workpiece range and producing finer weld marks.
